1) In order to coordinate the implementation of land and watershed conservation activities in a district, the Government of Nepal shall publish a notice in the Nepal Gazette and constitute a District Land and Watershed Conservation Committee.
(2) The work, duties and powers of the District Land and Watershed Protection Committee constituted as per sub-section (1) shall be as prescribed.
